11:13pm - I've been working on a new character-editor for my game for the past several hours. It is something I've known I would have to redesign from scratch but have been putting it off. The new one will be much more versatile. It will allow definition of a variety of types of characters and make a lot more depth to the game..

Today at work sucked. It has been very slow the past several days and I have managed to get a lot of work done. However, when I got into work this morning at 11:00 there was a line waiting for me and there was a line until about 15 minutes before I left. I didn't get much of anything done other than taking care of morons.. I mean customer's problems. There was one bright part, though. I had found this little harddrive caddy that goes to my Powerexec laptop and I thought it would be cool to have a second one so I could stick a seperate harddrive in it with FreeBSD (Just like i did on the Ascentia J) and when I asked Matt how much he wanted to sell it to me for, he just told me I could have it. Unfortunatly, when I got home it didn't work. I realized there were a few messed up solder joints, probably from somebody trying to disconnect the drive by yanking on the cable.. but I fixed them with my soldering iron and now it works. I actually thought FreeBSD would run better on the old 486 than Linux... but I was wrong.. Xwindows is super-duper-horrifyingly slow. It isn't the CPU speed as much as the minimal 8 MB of RAM..
