4:28pm - we're in the plane. Just took off 5 minutes ago. Hailey pitched a fit for 10 minutes before take-off, but now she is fine. Our flight to Houston was delayed for 30 minutes. Not sure how it will affect our connecting flight to San Diego. Leslie and I checked baggage for the first time today. Hailey's extra luggage made it neccessary. I brought my laptop, but there is no way I could bring it out. We are very cramped, and passing the baby around. So I'm just using my hand-held for the time. If Hailey goes to sleep, I might get to read some more Harry Potter. I copied the next two books onto my handheld.

6:06pm - well, we got to Houston and had to get from one side of George Bush international airport to the other in about 20 minutes. We had to walk very fast, and I wasn't sure David Savidge was going to make it. We boarded the plane right as they were getting ready to close the doors. We have about 3 hours left on this flight, and Hailey is currently pitching a fit. It is getting dark outside, so maybe she'll go to sleep.

7:20pm - hailey has been pitching the world's biggest fit for the last hour. She finnaly went to sleep a few minutes ago. We have her laying in the empty seat between us. It is dark outside the plane. We have about an hour and a half to go before landing. I'm not feeling so good. Don't know if it is the stress of a crying baby, the nasty chicken sandwich they just fed us, or the turbulence. This trip has gotten off to a bad start. I wish I hadn't come, or at least if we didn't have to drag Hailey along with us. I haven't taken a single picture yet. I'm sure I'll find something soon, though. The inflight movie is "The Scorpion King," which I couldn't care less about watching.
