9:54am - Yesterday Leslie and I decided to attend the newcommer's coffee. Of course, I despise coffee and is probably one of the reasons I've never attended. My thinking was that we'd attend that, then go to the regular service, simply missing some music. I always imagined it would last about 15 minutes. The reason I imagined that was that I was under the impression that Randy Frazee was the one who was in charge of that. So I figured it would definatly be finished by the time the sermon was emminent since he can't do both at the same time. However, it turns out Randy only stops by for a little bit and then Ira Orr takes over from there and it lasts a good hour.
Anyway, I am not at work, oddly enough. I'm going to go to the doctor in just about half-an-hour. For the last few weeks I've been feeling something in the back of my throat when I swallow. I've attempted to look in the mirror with a flashlight. I've even taken some photos using my webcam, by way of sticking it in my mouth along with a flashlight. I think I may have seen something, but I'm not sure what I'm looking at. The most irritating part is that my health insurance doesn't start for another two weeks. So here I am again going to be paying the full amount to visit the doctor and more than likely there is no reason to do so. At least, that is how it always works out. But this thing bothers me for two reasons. One, it is irritating feeling it there. Two, I am concerned that it might be a precursor to something more serious. If I've guessed correctly, I think it is my left tonsil that is enlarged for some reason. I guess I'll know in an hour or so.
I went to homegroup yesterday evening with Leslie. Again, I took my laptop and worked on many things. I did make some significant progress on re-vamping my website. But it is still not ready to replace the current one. I need another hour or two and it should be ready. It looks a little nicer, in my opinion, and it will be more organized that the previous one. Not to mention up-to-date. A lot of the stuff on my website is years out of date.
