8:50pm - Hmm.. Haven't written in a few days. The day after we started Hailey on antibiotics for her strep throat, Leslie came down with it bad. In fact, by noon she was throwing up every 30 minutes for most of the day. I also went to the doctor and got antibiotics since I came down with it too. FOrtunatly the worst symptom I ever got was a mild to moderate sore throat. I caught it before it got bad. But under normal circumstances I would have never gone to the doctor over such trivial symptoms. However, since I knew what it was I knew it would get worse. Good news is we are all pretty much over it now. I took my last dose of Zithromax today. Hailey is taking Amoxicillin and she still has a few days left, though.
Today was the first day for our new Senior Pastor to give the message and Leslie and I had media duty today. So I ran the camera (as usual) but I was rather sleepy as we kind of went to bed late and I also had taken benadryl this morning. So I was having a hard time staying awake. We just got back from Homegroup where I played a little airsoft. Unfortunatly it is getting dark so early now that it was dark when we started playing and therefor hard to see.
Friday we went to Jennifer's wedding. (Jennifer is Leslie's cousin) It was in Ft. Worth in an episcipal church. I remember thinking how horribly inefficient the building design was. It was an old stone building. It was designed with only two rows of pews which were arranged very narrowly. Half of the length of the church was the pulpit. Again this is a dumb design because only the first three rows or so of people can see anything at all. Anyway, it was quite boring compared to the other weddings we went to. Not that any wedding is particularly full of excitment unless you are one of the people getting married. Anyway, the reception was in the Worthingtom Rennessance hotel in downtown Fort Worth. It was very fancy but the food, as usual was terrible. It was a lot of expensive stuff that I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole. If I ever throw some kind of expensive party (yeah right, like I'd ever have a reason or the money) I'd bring in Taco-Bell or something.
