Commodore 64 HI-RES Pictures

This was my second computer, probably when I was 8 or 9 years old. Now it seems to me that this unit broke shortly after upgrading to it from the Vic-20. When I say short time, I mean within a year or so. Then my dad bought us (me and my brother, we shared it) the C64c. Then later on my borhter discovered that the SID chip was faulty and removed it. Then it worked again and I had my "own" computer in my room. Which was cool because I always had to share. But I didn't have a disk drive. So I hooked it to my TV and I also had a left-over 300 baud modem and a cassette drive. I managed to copy CCGMS terminal over to a cassette tape along with some of my favorite games. So I called BBS's from my own room for a while. Then it broke for good. This particular one was given to me by an old girlfriend when I was 17 who didn't want it anymore. (Thanks Renee!) I hooked up the 1541 for authenticity. This computer is in excellent condition and even has original box and packing materials. I loaded up one of my favorite old games, M.U.L.E. before taking the picture. Good old planet Irata! Don't have an older 1902 monitor, so the 1084 is displayed here. The C64 was a massive improvement on the Vic20 in every aspect, memory, graphics, sound, etc.
